I praise You, God, for the beautiful land of India. I praise You that You were intimately involved in creating every Indian with a purpose in Your plan. I thank You, God, for India, as a nation that loves well.

I bless India with an abundance of joy and shouts of praise, with new revelations of God’s goodness, with life and restoration.

I pray every Indian believer may know their place in the universal body of Christ. I draw in every believer who feels alienated back to the family of God. May God’s love for you and delight in you consume every fear. I pray hope will be like an inextinguishable fire. May this hope sustain your courage to move forward. I bless you to know the glory set before you, which surpasses every present suffering (Romans 8:17-18). I pray the yoke of slavery will forever be lifted off the backs of you who set your mind on Christ.

I pray the lost and shackled may see and yearn for the freedom found in Christ (Galatians 5:1). I declare God is patient with India, not wanting anyone to be lost (2 Pet 3:9). I bless India to know the Lord longs to be gracious to them, and He will rise to show them compassion (Isaiah 30:18). I bless India to know there is forgiveness in Christ and they can be reconciled to the Father who loves them.

I pray that You, Lord of the Harvest, will send out labourers into harvest, for it is plentiful (Matthew 9:37-38). I pray the Holy Spirit will be poured out over the nation to bring light in every darkness so that unbelieving hearts may turn to God. I pray for open doors, that the mystery of Christ may be proclaimed (Colossians 4:3). I pray for strategy and wisdom in the mission. I pray for boldness by the Holy Spirit, to conquer intimidation and perceived limitation. I declare the things which are impossible with men are possible with God (Luke 1:27).

I declare You, Jesus, are seated far above every leader in government, political party, city, town, workplace, tribe, and family in India (Ephesians 1:21-23). I declare You, God, are Sovereign over every matter and every power. Let Your will be done in India. We await in eager expectation. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
