Lord, we lift up the nation of Burundi today. Father, I know this is a significant year for the Church to become the song of the Lord to the wonderful people You have created in this nation, to call them into restoration and healing.
I pray that those who are free will liberate.
That those who are full will overflow.
That those who are strong with strengthen.
I pray that those who are fearless will invade.
Those who are pure will convict.
May Your people walking in holiness align.
May Your people who are empowered impart.
I pray for an explosion in the youth of this nation to reach their own generation and to birth a new expression of church. I see you waking up slumbering and weak intercessors to usher in Your growth in this year and I agree, let it be.
Lord, may Your children be the song of the Lord to this thirsty land. I pray that they will so overflow that the adjacent nations will also be touched as the Church in Burundi step into their destiny as joyful fathers and mothers, binding up the broken hearts in this nation.
