Lord, we bring before you the Himba tribe living in Namibia. We declare that Your powerful Light of truth will shine into their hearts with revelation of You, the real God.
We ask that you will bring missionaries to them with the heavenly strategies, who will know how to approach these people with the right mindset and preach the gospel in new, relevant ways. For Holy Spirit’s ‘outside of the box’ ideas.
May they see and feel Your message of love right from the beginning. Soften and open their hearts to You. May the gospel come not as a perceived threat. We declare that God doesn’t come to steal the Himbas’ joy, but to redefine it to the real joy that only He can give.
We bless them with protection from the wrong influences, that the right spiritual doors will be opened and all the others closed. We cover them with a blanket of protection from all demonic powers that try to deceive and distract them.
We call out craftsmen that will come and teach the people how to practically improve their conditions of living – how to build houses, how to use their resources and thrive. We bless them with a provision of their physical needs, with opportunities for jobs, to learn, get tools to farm, know where to get water and how to grow in health as a tribe.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that you would give Namibian people keys to unlock revival in their nation. That people will be mobilised to be a light to their own people.
