Laos, may your sons in their youth be as grown up plants, and your daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace” (Psalm 144:12).

The young of Laos rise up! May you begin to hunger and thirst for the ancient truths of God that are lying in wait for you to discover! May your eyes be opened to who you are called to be by our Heavenly Father.

May you experience the breadth and length and height and depth of His love. May you know Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18).

Young men! Seek out the word of the Lord. May you treasure it in your heart, that you may not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11). God calls out, “Give me your heart, My son, and let your eyes delight in My ways” (Proverbs 23:26).

Young women! I remind you that charm is deceitful and beauty is vain (Proverbs 31:31). Desire instead to be clothed with strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:21).

Young ones! You carry the baton for your future, carry it with joy, with character, with perseverance, with wisdom, and COMPLETE abandon and love for the Father!

To the young of the Laos Church! In the name of Jesus, pastors rise up, teachers come forth, evangelists get excited, prophets speak! Steward the fruits and the gifts of the Holy Spirit and impart!

“But now faith, hope, love, abide. These three, but the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13). Amen.
