Ephesians 1:18- “I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called—His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance.”
Lord, we pray that you will expand the hearts of the Iraqi people and awaken a yearning within them to seek You, their Creator and Heavenly Father. May Iraqis know You as the God who establishes their identity and calls them to a life of worship.
We pray for soft hearts that seek Truth. We declare an opening of their spiritual eyes to see love in action. May they be flooded with Light today and understand the hope that You want to give them through Jesus; freedom from being slaves to fear.
In Jesus’ name we break the power of fear and fear of death from the minds and hearts of the people. May the bondage, terror, and anxiety lift. May they see the Prince of Peace clearly. May they meet Your true Shalom. May they see you as God Almighty, Maker of the heavens and the earth.
In Your hands may troubled and unsettled hearts find rest, peace, and hope like they’ve never experienced elsewhere. In Jesus’ name.
