Boldness of Lions

Received May 2022

In this season, Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5) is roaring, calling every son and daughter.

Hosea 11:10-They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars, then His sons shall come trembling..

I saw Jesus, the Lion of Judah, looking each person deeply in the eyes. I felt Him saying, “Don’t look away. Keep your gaze on Me”. His fiery, loving gaze burnt away shame, fears and self-doubt. The longer individuals looked into His eyes, the more they transformed and matured into lions themselves (2 Cor. 3:18).

I felt Jesus saying,“I am changing hearts and perceptions of personality. Insecurity and fear of man shall no longer define you.  I am making you brave, with hearts like lions (2 Sam. 17:4). The boldness of lions is coming upon My church and you shall be defined by what I say and think of you,“ says the Lord (Prov. 28:1).

“I am raising up a confident army that is not preoccupied with self-focus or second-guessing; one full of My might, whose confidence is in Me.”

I watched as we became a great army, like David’s mighty men (1 Chron.12). Then Jesus began to laugh, a carefree laugh at the enemy’s best attempts to stop advancement of His Kingdom. His laugh infused understanding of how much greater He is. We laughed too, relieved, the weight of anxiety and imbalanced theologies lifting. God said, “Fight and war from the understanding of My greatness. I am not overwhelmed.”

Isaiah 31:4-5 (NIV)-This is what the LORD says to me: As a lion growls, a great lion over its prey—and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against it, it is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamour—so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights. Like birds hovering overhead, the LORD Almighty will shield Jerusalem; He will shield it and deliver it, He will pass over it and will rescue it.

I bless you with revelation of the One you are with. Look into His eyes, exchange insecurities for His lion-like bravery to face challenges, to witness and for the battles ahead.
