Lord, we lift up the Howeitat Bedouins in prayer- a desert people group scattered across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel.
We thank You, God, that Your Church is growing in the nations where the Howeitat people live. Our hearts are burdened for this unreached tribe. May you break through all the barriers that are keeping them from receiving the gospel. Awaken their hearts with a deep hunger for truth.
As some authorities press to displace them from their ancestral homeland, turn their mourning into a yearning for Christ. Visit them in their dreams. May entire communities encounter You in the night. Reveal the deception of Islam to the Howeitat tribe. Awaken them to Your love, God. Show them that you are the only true God and Saviour, and their purpose in Your kingdom.
Lord, we ask for protection of their homes and their families from displacement. Strengthen those who have been displaced or imprisoned. Surround them with mercy, relief, and steadfast advocates in their time of distress.
You are present with them in their struggle for justice, security, and for their voices to be heard. You hear them, Lord. You see. May they know your heart is turned to them.
