Lord Jesus, we bring before You Myanmar, a nation so dear to your heart. We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, some of whom live under a double portion of persecution and violent pressure.
We stand with them in prayer and ask you, Lord, to strengthen their faith. Give them peace and love for their neighbours, that exceeds their understanding, and comes from You.
As elections come up this year, let Your will be done. Release your mercy and solutions to those under pressure within the current war.
We speak peace to this nation. Cover Your sons and daughters under the shadow of Your wings. Protect the many youth who are fleeing from war as well as their families who stay behind, and those separated from their loved ones.
We pray, Lord, that You would touch the hearts and souls of those practicing Buddhism. Meet them in dreams and visions. Free them from cycles of striving. May they not wait in vain for a next reincarnation, but find You.
We pray, Lord, that You would touch the hearts and souls of those who follow Islam. Reveal truth to them. May they find you in the midst of crisis, persecution and pain.
Release your conviction of Your reality by the Holy Spirit. Overcome them with real joy, real love, and real freedom.
We bless every person in Myanmar to perceive that these things are only found in You, Jesus, and to turn to You.
