Purification of the Church through the Word

Received 14 May 2020

Bethesda House

God is re-establishing His Word into our hearts. We have not realised how weak and dehydrated we are from not being nourished consistently in the Word, because we have grown accustomed to it. However, there will be an outpouring of passionate revelation like the heart of David, a release of a great desire and delight to read the Bible. It will wipe clean any guilt, shame, and condemnation.

The Word will wash us clean from all dividing theologies and doctrines, bringing believers together. We will be a united voice saying, this is the way, walk in it (Isaiah 30:21). It will wash us clean of worldly wisdom and impure information outlets. We will feed on truth rather than the desires of our flesh. His truth will stand above error, compromise, resistance to change, and false gospels pulling people off course.

New songs and creative expressions will emerge from our renewed hunger for the Word. There will be a weight of God’s glory on these songs and expressions as they will not only be from our experience but straight from Scripture.

Ask the Lord for a hunger for His Word. Allow it to purify your heart and equip you for the future.
