The Mountain of the Lord

In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all

Ashley Ottow

In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all, the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship. People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. Isaiah 2:2-3, Micah 4:1-2

Many other “hills” are being exalted across the earth right now.  They might seem huge to us, deeply established and firm in their standing.  But the Lord is about to open our eyes to see the mountain of the Lord, and all other movements, agendas, and establishments, good or bad, will dwarf in its presence.

A great shift has happened in our current culture to online gatherings.  We will see more churches and ministries continuing to stream their meetings online even after this current pandemic is over, and a greater measure of creativity can spring from this if we are seeking Him. It is not a time to seek experts on this, but to seek the Lord for ingenuity that has yet to be established or realised. He desires to pour out new structures and fresh ideas to gather His people together to seek Him. It is one of several new wineskins He is looking to release on the earth right now.

Equipping of the global Church will intensify as teachings, worship, revelations, and impartation becomes accessible to anyone with internet.  We will stream together to the mountain of the Lord, across borders and nations and say, “Come, let’s go together.” A great unity in the global body of Christ can arise from this time if we are willing to open our hearts and journey alongside believers in other parts of the world.

It is not a time to only journey to this church’s mountain or that ministry’s mountain.  It is not a time to journey alone or with only like-minded believers. We are all ascending the mountain together. Seek the mountain of the Lord, which is highest of all.
